A Word About My Fiction

Writing is an essential part of who I am. I fully believe that I would not be who I am today without it. It’s important. It’s as important as breathing most days.

So what do I specifically write about? I try to experiment but I mostly gravitate towards speculative fiction, historical fiction, and mysteries with hues of the uncanny spread between them. I like to explore the strange side of the human existence in all its humor and horror. The strange in the ordinary, the intricacies of the simple, the wildly ludicrous and the emotion behind it all. My characters are mostly human, sometimes they’re something else masking as people.

You all know the difficulty in describing your own style. There was my attempt at describing mine.

My current passion project deals with a town called Hollow Grove where vampires, werewolves, and other types of supernatural spirits are fully integrated with the human population. It has a vast history, often fraught with all manner of strange horrors. But the people try not to get too bogged down by it. They’ve got to make a living somehow. No time to cower with daily life getting in the way.
